Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Kertasena Technology website and the digital engineering services we provide. By working with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Engagement & Services

Kertasena Technology provides high-performance web development, digital strategy, and software engineering services. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each project will be outlined in a separate, mutually agreed-upon Statement of Work (SOW) or Contract.

2. Client Responsibilities

To ensure smooth project execution, clients are expected to:

  • Provide necessary assets, credentials, and feedback in a timely manner.
  • Ensure they have the legal right to use any branding materials or content supplied to us.
  • Communicate clearly regarding scope changes (which may incur additional costs).

3. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership

We believe in radical transparency and no vendor lock-in. Upon receipt of full and final payment, all intellectual property rights, including the custom source code, design assets, and database schemas created specifically for your project, are transferred to your organization.

Kertasena Technology reserves the right to reuse generic, open-source, or foundational code libraries that do not contain your proprietary business logic.

4. Payment Terms

Unless stated otherwise in the specific SOW, our standard payment structure is:

  • 50% Upfront Deposit to commence discovery and engineering.
  • 50% Final Payment upon project completion and prior to production launch/code transfer.

Invoices are payable within 14 days of receipt. Late payments may result in a pause of engineering services.

5. Warranties & Support

We engineer robust products, but the web is dynamic. We provide a standard 30-Day Hyper-Care Support period post-launch to fix any bugs directly related to our code at no extra charge. Any new features, third-party API changes, or server issues outside our control after this period will require a separate maintenance retainer.

6. Limitation of Liability

Kertasena Technology shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of revenue or data) arising from the use of the digital products we build, or from external server outages, third-party API failures, or cyber attacks.
